Privacy Policy
Last updated August 20, 2026
We collect only what we need to run great camps and stay in touch with you. We never sell your personal information. Here's the plain-English version of what we collect and why.
Information we collect
- Registration details — your name, email address, phone number, and self-reported skill level when you sign up for a camp.
- Payment information — payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Site usage data — like most websites, we collect basic technical information (browser type, pages visited, referring site) through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To reserve your camp seat and run the camp you registered for.
- To send confirmations, reminders, and camp updates by email and text message.
- To let you know about future camps and offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text.
- To understand how our site is used and improve it.
Cookies and advertising
Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show our ads to people who may be interested in our camps. This means Meta may receive information about your visit to our site. You can control ad personalization through your Facebook ad preferences and your browser's cookie settings.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate — our payment processor, registration platform, and email/text messaging services. Each is permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our participants and staff.
Photos and video
We occasionally photograph and record video at camps for coaching and marketing purposes, as described in our Participant Agreement. If you'd prefer not to appear in marketing materials, tell us at check-in and we'll accommodate you.
Data retention and security
We keep registration records as long as needed for business and legal purposes, then delete them. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing jared@breakthroughpickleball.com. We'll respond promptly.
Children
Our camps are designed for adults, and our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
