Participant Agreement, Release & Media Consent

By registering for a Breakthrough Pickleball camp, you agree to the terms below. Please read them — they affect your legal rights.

Assumption of risk

I understand that pickleball is a physical activity and that participation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to slips and falls, collisions with other players, contact with balls or paddles, muscle strains, joint injuries, heat-related illness, and cardiac events. I voluntarily accept these risks.

Physical condition

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in four hours of instruction and play. I have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, or I have consulted a physician and been cleared to participate. I will stop and notify a coach if I feel unwell at any point during the camp.

Release of liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release and hold harmless Central TX Pickleball, LLC d/b/a Breakthrough Pickleball, its owners, coaches, employees, contractors, and the host facility from any claim arising out of my participation, except for claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct. I agree that this release binds my heirs and personal representatives.

Media consent

I grant Breakthrough Pickleball permission to photograph and record video at the camp, and to use my image, likeness, and voice in its advertising, website, and social media without compensation. If I do not wish to appear, I will notify a coach at check-in, and Breakthrough will make reasonable efforts to exclude me.

Code of conduct

I will treat coaches and fellow participants with respect and follow the host facility's rules. Breakthrough Pickleball may remove any participant whose conduct is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.

Cancellations and refunds

I have read and agree to the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Adults only

Breakthrough Pickleball camps are for adults 18 and over. Participants must be at least 18 years of age on the date of the camp.
