Breakthrough runs half-day pickleball camps — four hours, twelve players, two coaches. We do the marketing, we sell the seats, we handle the money. You show up and coach.

Austin and Dallas run October 23 and 24. These eight cities are next — one camp in each between October 31 and December 12, and up to five camps per city in 2027.

Indoor courts

What the camp is

—Four hours, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
—Twelve players, 3.0 to 3.5 — people who have been stuck at the same level for a year or more and know it.
—Two coaches, six players each.
—Indoor, climate-controlled courts.
—A set curriculum, the same in every city.

Show up and coach for four hours
Cover the curriculum

You are not responsible for filling the camp.

What you get

✓Paid hourly, based on your certifications and your reach
✓Commission on paddle sales at your camp
✓Commission on any players you bring in — entirely optional, and there is no quota
✓You pick your second coach
✓One camp this November or December, and up to five in your city in 2027

What we ask

—You cover our curriculum. How you teach it is yours — what you teach isn’t.
—You wear Breakthrough gear at camp, carrying our paddle partner’s logo.
—You play our paddle partner’s paddle at camp, and you don’t promote another brand around the event.

Who Breakthrough is

Breakthrough Pickleball runs half-day camps for recreational players who have stopped improving. Most people who play this sport never set foot in an indoor facility, so they never get access to high-end coaching. They pick up bad habits, plateau, and have no plan for getting past it.

Camps and clinics that fix that are usually expensive and eat a full weekend. We built the opposite: four hours, twelve players, two coaches, indoor courts, and a curriculum written for the 50-plus game. We travel it city to city, and we need a head coach in each one.

Jared Jolly

Co-Founder

An entrepreneur for 30 years. Jared sold his business in 2023, got deep into pickleball, and in October 2024 opened Pickleball Kingdom North Austin — 11 indoor courts in Pflugerville. Running a club is where he saw the coaching gap Breakthrough exists to close. He plays at a 4.75 DUPR and competes with the Austin Bandits Texas Senior Pro team.

Foster Johnson

Co-Founder

Coach, 5.1 DUPR, PPA competitor with multiple gold medals, and a sponsored tournament player. Foster built the curriculum around the reasoning behind the game, not just drills — and he is the person who will call you.

Where we are

We’ll be straight with you: Breakthrough Pickleball is a new company. We run traveling half-day camps for recreational players who have stopped improving — four hours, twelve players, two coaches, indoor courts — and Austin and Dallas on October 23 and 24 are our first two.
